Most technology serving Tanzanian institutions is specified abroad, delivered by a team that flies in, and handed to whoever is left when the contract closes. Nextec was built the other way round.
We are a Tanzanian company operating under Tanzanian law, engineering systems for the conditions they will actually run in — the power, the connectivity, the regulation and the people — and we remain accountable for them after handover.

Under Tanzanian law
We are a Tanzanian company. Your obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2022 are our obligations too, and data residency is a decision we make with you rather than a consequence of where a vendor happens to host.
Engineering resident in country
Our engineers live and work here. They build for intermittent power, variable bandwidth and the real procurement environment, because they have not built anywhere else.
Accountable after handover
We do not demobilise at go-live. The company that designed your system is registered and reachable in the same jurisdiction as your legal department.
